CalcRange is an independent library of free calculators and practical calculation guides. The site is built for people who want a clear answer, the formula behind it, and enough context to use the result responsibly. Our tools cover finance, health, education, construction, dates, travel, everyday mathematics, animal breeding dates, and Islamic calculations.

Who operates CalcRange
CalcRange is founded and operated by Umar Malik. Umar maintains the calculator library, publishes and updates site content, checks reported errors, and coordinates corrections. CalcRange is not a bank, medical provider, accounting firm, legal practice, government agency, or university.
What CalcRange does
Each calculator is designed around a specific task: estimate a loan payment, compare percentages, calculate a date, convert a unit, estimate construction materials, or understand a health-related screening number. The result is accompanied by explanations, formulas, examples, assumptions, and limitations where those details affect how the number should be interpreted.
How calculators are checked
- Formula review: We identify the formula, convention, or published method used by the tool.
- Worked examples: Representative inputs are calculated independently and compared with the displayed result.
- Boundary checks: We test zero values, decimals, large values, date boundaries, rounding, and invalid inputs when relevant.
- Source review: Health, finance, tax, religious, and safety-related pages link to primary or established sources where practical.
- Plain-language review: Labels, units, assumptions, and warnings are checked so a user can understand what the result does and does not mean.
Calculators provide estimates based on the inputs and assumptions shown. They do not replace a quotation, diagnosis, tax calculation, legal opinion, engineering review, or professional advice.
How articles are researched
We prefer primary sources such as government agencies, standards bodies, universities, peer-reviewed research, and official product or service documentation. Established professional organizations may be used when a primary source is not available. Articles should separate mathematical facts from social conventions, estimates, or recommendations.
Publication and review dates are included where freshness matters. A date shows when the page was checked; it does not guarantee that every law, rate, guideline, or third-party policy will remain unchanged.
Software-assisted drafting
CalcRange may use software tools to organize research, test calculations, or assist with drafts. Published formulas, examples, links, claims, and editorial decisions remain subject to human review by the site operator. We do not publish invented credentials, fabricated user reviews, or unsupported guarantees.
Corrections and updates
If you find a calculation error, outdated source, broken link, unclear instruction, or accessibility problem, email support@calcrange.com. Please include the page URL, the inputs you used, the result you received, and the result you expected. Material corrections are prioritized over cosmetic changes.
Privacy and independence
Most calculations run in the browser. Users should never enter card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, or other sensitive information into a calculator. See the Privacy Policy for analytics, cookies, advertising, and third-party service information.
