Prayer Times Calculator: Daily and Monthly Timetables

Calculate a daily or monthly prayer timetable for a city or coordinates. Check the date, calculation method and Asr setting, then compare the result with a trusted local mosque or authority. Times are estimates supplied by AlAdhan, not an official local timetable.

Monthly Prayer Timetable

Monthly timetable will appear after calculation.
Disclaimer: Prayer time calculations can vary by method, school, high-latitude rule, local authority, daylight saving, altitude, and manual adjustments. Use this calculator for general guidance and verify with your local mosque or Islamic authority.

Choose the settings before calculating

  1. Location: Enter a country and city, with a region where useful. Alternatively, enter both latitude and longitude. When both coordinate fields are filled, they take priority over the city.
  2. Date: Select the day you need. The monthly table covers that date’s month, not necessarily the current month.
  3. Method: Select the calculation method used by your trusted local timetable. The country selection does not automatically prove which method your mosque uses.
  4. Asr: Choose the juristic setting appropriate to your timetable. Do not change it simply to make a preferred clock time appear.
  5. Adjustments: Leave these at zero unless you have a documented local correction. A positive number moves that prayer later; a negative number moves it earlier.
  6. Select Calculate Prayer Times, then check the location, date and returned timezone beside the results.

What the results mean

The six main cards show Fajr, sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha. Sunrise is a solar event, not an additional obligatory prayer. The daily breakdown also displays extra markers returned by the service. The AlAdhan API documentation describes its timetable fields and available parameters.

The next-prayer estimate uses the returned location’s timezone when the selected date is today in that location. For a different date, it shows a timetable notice instead of a live countdown. The displayed interval is calculated when you request the result; recalculate to refresh it. After the final prayer, select tomorrow to obtain tomorrow’s actual timetable.

The Qibla result is a calculated bearing clockwise from true north. It is not a reading from your device’s compass, and magnetic north can differ from true north. The displayed Hijri date follows the provider’s calendar and may differ from a local moon-sighting announcement.

A repeatable comparison worksheet

To investigate a difference with your mosque’s timetable, record the city or coordinates, date, timezone, method, Asr setting, midnight mode and all six manual adjustments. Compare the same day and the same settings. A city-name match alone is not enough.

For an arithmetic check, a base time of 12:15 with a Dhuhr adjustment of +3 minutes should display 12:18. This example checks the adjustment, not the correctness of a prayer boundary. Return the adjustment to zero after testing unless your local timetable requires it.

Why two timetables can differ

Different methods use different calculation parameters. Location, timezone, daylight saving, rounding and local adjustments can also affect the displayed times. AlAdhan publishes its calculation methods and explains the limits of computed timings in its provider notes. There is no universal setting that this page can declare correct for every location and religious practice.

At high latitudes or when a result conflicts with your local authority, seek local guidance instead of choosing a time from this page by guesswork. For the distinction between midday transit and prayer guidance, see Zawal time.

When results do not load

The tool needs an internet connection and a response from AlAdhan. Check spelling and try both coordinates if a city is ambiguous. A failed request does not mean a prayer has no time. Use your trusted local timetable while the service is unavailable.

Using Use My Location is optional. It asks the browser for location permission and sends the resulting coordinates to the timetable service to calculate results. Enter a city manually if you prefer. See our Privacy Policy.

Checked 1 October 2026: The next-prayer display now uses the selected location’s timezone and distinguishes today’s results from other dates. This is a software check, not certification by a religious authority.
