🎂 Age Calculator Pro
Calculate age between two calendar dates
Enter a date of birth and the date to calculate until, then select Calculate Age. The result shows completed years, remaining months and remaining days, plus the elapsed whole days between the two dates. The second date may be in the past or future but must not be earlier than the birth date.
How the calendar calculation works
The tool counts completed calendar months from the birth date, then splits them into years and remaining months. Days are counted from that last monthly anniversary to the selected date. When an anniversary would fall on a day absent from the destination month, it uses that month’s final day. This is an explicit calculation convention, not a claim about every jurisdiction’s legal age rules.
For example, from 17 November 1998 to 1 June 2026 the result is 27 years, 6 months and 15 days, with 10,058 elapsed days. From 31 January 2026 to 28 February 2026, the month-end convention gives 1 month and 0 days, or 28 elapsed days.
Understand the additional results
Total months means completed calendar months, not days divided by an average month length. Total weeks counts completed seven-day periods. Hours, minutes and seconds convert the calendar-day difference into fixed 24-hour days; they are not an exact duration between birth timestamps and do not model daylight-saving changes.
Generation and zodiac labels are optional cultural classifications displayed by the existing tool. Their boundaries are conventions, not scientific measures of personality. The date arithmetic does not depend on those labels.
Frequently asked questions
Does the calculation include leap years?
Yes. Elapsed days use the Gregorian calendar. For a 29 February birthday, this tool uses 28 February as the anniversary in a non-leap year; official rules can differ.
Is the end date included in elapsed days?
Elapsed days measure the gap between dates. The same start and end date gives zero days; two consecutive dates give one day. This is different from counting both dates inclusively.
Can I calculate a child’s age or age on a future date?
Yes. Enter the birth date and the desired comparison date. The date calculation uses the same rules, although an official eligibility decision may use its own cutoff convention.
Can this replace official age verification?
No. Check official records and the rules of the institution or jurisdiction for legal, school, employment or benefit decisions. A calendar result is not proof of identity or eligibility.
